UBS Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena currently under construction in Elmont, New York, near the border with Queens. The arena is being built to be the new home of the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). The arena is scheduled to open in the fall of 2021, and will have a seating capacity of 19,000 for hockey games and 17,000 for other events.
The UBS Arena is being constructed on 43 acres of land at Belmont Park, and will include 18,000 square feet of premium seating and hospitality space, as well as numerous other amenities such as restaurants, bars, and retail shops.
